There’s nothing worse than working hard to get an amazing bikini body, and then gaining everything back while on a week long vacation. Below are my favorite tips to maintain your hot body while still having fun on vacation.
1. Drink water! Who doesn’t love floating in a pool with a drink in hand or sipping on wine during dinner? Although drinking fruity drinks and wines can be fun, the calories do add up and will leave you feeling bloated! Drinking water in between each alcoholic beverage will help to reduce calorie intake, bloat and prevent a hangover the next day.
2. Indulge (a little). No matter where you go on vacation, temptations for overindulgence are around every corner. It’s not fun always denying yourself that amazing dessert. Have some delicious chocolate cake (you are on vacation after all), but split the dessert with your table, take one or two bites, savor it and continue to have fun.
3. Eat salad before your meal. To help reduce calories at each meal, start off dinner and lunch by eating a salad (not bread). Remember to go for vinegar based dressings, without cheeses, or fried foods.
4. Stay active (but have fun)! You don’t have to stop having fun to stay fit while on vacation! Take a walk every day, explore the city you are in or enjoy the sights around the beach. Swim laps in the pool, rent a bike and explore, throw a football or frisbie while on the beach. Stay active, but remember to have fun!
