Learning from your past and looking forward to the future is an essential part of life. Although it is important to set goals, I admit that sometimes I think too much about what comes next and forget to stop and enjoy the present. My challenge for you this week is to not get discouraged by the past or overwhelmed by future goals, and enjoy today. This challenge can be used in every aspect of your life, but can also help obtain your health and fitness goals. Don’t waste today thinking about diets that didn’t work, previous workout routines that you left behind or feeling overwhelmed by weight loss goals. Have fun creating new healthy recipes and trying new foods. Enjoy the time spent with friends and family engaging in new healthy activities. Focusing on the positive, enjoying the process and appreciating your current life will help move you closer to your dreams, without missing the beauty surrounding you.
